Welcome to the website of the Motueka Music Group in New Zealand's South Island.  The Group organises chamber music concerts performed by artists of national or international distinction.  It is very fortunate to have an excellent chamber music venue, the Chanel Arts Centre, with a fine ambience and acoustic.  The quality of the performers and venue means that the local community has access to live chamber music of a standard at least matching that found in much larger centres.  I hope that you enjoy exploring our website, and that you are able to attend our concerts when you are in this region.

Sometimes small places have big secrets.  One of Motueka’s (pop. 7,000) is that each year the Music Group organises 5-6 concerts of world-class chamber music in a superb concert chamber.  What’s more the ticket price has remained at $20 for several years to ensure that cost is not a barrier.  By clicking on the buttons to the left you will find information about our concerts, our history, the Chanel Arts Centre,  chamber music links, and how to contact us.  This website is a new and developing venture for the Group.
